Where does the mask obligation apply?
Anyone wanting to enter a shop in Travemünde, as well as anywhere else in Schleswig-Holststein, and use the bus, train or taxi must continue to cover their mouth and nose. Mouth-nose coverings are everyday masks, scarves, cloths and other cuts made of fabric that are suitable for completely covering the mouth and nose. Excluded from the regulation are children up to the age of six as well as drivers of buses, trains and taxis.

Are there any restrictions on bus transport?

Yes, from now on it is also allowed to enter Travemünde as a day guest from other federal states of Germany. Please respect the regulations on site - especially during holidays and weekends. In case of an increased number of visitors, there may be short-term restrictions.

Are there any tours of the MS Hanse?
The MS Hanse started their hourly tours from Pötenitzer Wiek to Travemünde again. The tour between Lübeck and Travemünde is also availble 6 x a day again, with consideration of the official requirements. Are the VOI and Lime e-scooters in operation?
The e-scooters in Travemünde can be used again. Wear gloves to stay protected and wash your hands before and after using them for safety reasons. Also maintain the safety distance please.

The rental of wicker beach chairs at Travemünde beach is possible. Please pay attention to the hygiene regulations on site.

Are restaurants and cafés open?
Gastronomy is allowed to reopen its doors until 10 pm. Please respect the distance and hygiene regulations of the location. Some restaurants or cafés also offer a pick-up or delivery service. You can find an overview here.

How do the ferries leave to/from Priwall?
The car ferry leaves every 10 to 15 minutes. From now on, the passenger ferry runs daily from 10 am to 6 pm from the Nordermole.

The events in the Nature Factory Priwall are starting again.

Is the PASSAT open?
The four-masted barque PASSAT on Priwall welcomes you back on board from now on. Visitors must wear a mouth-nose protection inside. The distance of 1.5 metres must be kept at any time.
