Mobile by bus
All buses have lowerable floors, making them wheelchair-accessible. Ramps also make it easier to access the vehicle. The control buttons to request a stop are located outside and on the buses. The passenger attendants are happy to give any extra assistance with getting on and off.
Blind and partially sighted passengers can get special orientation and touch maps at the ServiceCenter in Lübeck's central bus station and on Gustav-Radbruch-Platz.

Mobile by train
The Strandbahnhof station in Travemünde has step-free access to the platforms through the side entrance (though assistance is required with the door). There is one step at the main entrance. Tactile strips guide stick users to the platforms. There is a disabled toilet and the nearest disabled parking spaces are in the street "Am Kurgarten".
